1. Private Rented Housing (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will take evidence on the Bill at Stage 1 from—

2. Draft Budget Scrutiny 2011-12: The Committee will take evidence on the Scottish Government’s Draft Budget 2011-12 from—

John Swinney MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Sustainable Growth, David Henderson, Head of Local Government Division, and Graham Owenson, Team Leader, Local Government - Finance, Scottish Government.

3. Draft Budget Scrutiny 2011-12 (in private): The Committee will consider the main themes arising from the evidence heard to date.

4. Private Rented Housing (Scotland) Bill (in private): The Committee will discuss the main themes arising from the evidence heard to date.

Proposed future business

At its next meeting, on 8 December, the Committee will take oral evidence on the Local Electoral Administration (Scotland) Bill and consider a draft report on its scrutiny of the Scottish Government draft budget 2011-12.

1. Draft Budget Scrutiny 2011-12: The Committee will take evidence on the Scottish Government’s Draft Budget 2011-12 from—

1. Decision on taking business in private: The Committee will decide whether to take item 4 in private.

2. Section 23 report - The Gathering 2009: The Committee will take evidence on the Auditor General for Scotland’s report entitled "The Gathering 2009" from—

Rt Hon Alex Salmond MSP, First Minister, and Michael Russell MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning, Scottish Government.

3. Subordinate legislation: The Committee will consider the following negative instrument—

the Public Finance and Accountability (Scotland) Act 2000 (Economy, efficiency and effectiveness examinations) (Specified bodies etc.) Order 2010 (SSI2010/389).

4. Consideration of evidence - The Gathering 2009: The Committee will consider the evidence received at agenda item 2.

Proposed future business

At its next meeting, on 8 December, it is expected that the Committee will consider further briefings from the Auditor General for Scotland in relation to reports he has recently published.

1. Draft Budget Scrutiny 2011-12: The Committee will take evidence on the Scottish Government’s Draft Budget 2011-12 from—
