1. Consideration of a current petition: The Committee will consider the following current petitions—

PE1124 Ban on snares: The Committee will take evidence from—

Roseanna Cunningham MSP, Minister for Environment;

John Gray, and Hugh Dignon, Species Management Team, Scottish Government;

Ian Hooper, Landscapes and Habitat Team, Scottish Government.

2. Consideration of a current petition: The Committee will consider the following current petitions—

PE1095 Protection from windfarm developments: The committee will take evidence from—

Kenneth Gibson MSP, Scottish Parliament;

Sybil Simpson, Nigel Willis, Chair, Save Your Regional Park Campaign, and Robert Maund;

Graeme Purves, Assistant Chief Planner, Directorate for the Built Environment, and Jamie Hume, Deputy Director, Renewable Energy, Scottish Government.

3. Consideration of new petitions: The Committee will consider the following new petitions—

5. Notification of new petitions: The Committee will consider a paper indicating new petitions lodged since the last Committee meeting.

Proposed future business

At its next meeting on 26 January, it is expected that the Committee will consider new petitions on requesting another police force to investigate a complaint; provision of local authority public petitioning processes; safeguard funding of charities; amendment of the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003 and extension of bowel cancer screening programme.
