S3W-30213 Jim Hume: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it considers that the principles of administrative justice and law apply to the formal public consultation on service delivery change being undertaken by NHS Dumfries and Galloway.

S3W-30215 Hugh O’Donnell: To ask the Scottish Executive what percentage of the funding allocation distributed by the Scottish Funding Council in the (a) 2007-08 and (b) 2008-09 funding rounds was awarded to the New Horizons Fund for skills development work.

S3W-30216 Des McNulty: To ask the Scottish Executive what its explanation is for the removal of the active travel overarching statement "I know and can demonstrate how to travel safely whether on foot, on a bicycle, in a motor vehicle or on public transport" and the outcome "I am encouraged and supported to travel actively and safely to and from my place of learning", which were in the draft but not in the final published version of the Curriculum for Excellence, without any records being kept of the reasons and how this relates to the consultation process.

S3W-30219 Elaine Smith: To ask the Scottish Executive whether Transport Scotland has made an assessment of the economic benefits of retaining direct London to Glasgow rail services on the east coast main line.

S3W-30220 Elaine Smith: To ask the Scottish Executive whether Transport Scotland has made an assessment of the environmental benefits of retaining direct London to Glasgow rail services on the east coast main line.

S3W-30221 Elaine Smith: To ask the Scottish Executive whether Transport Scotland has made an assessment of potential benefits in addressing social exclusion by retaining direct London to Glasgow rail services on the east coast main line.

S3W-30222 Elaine Smith: To ask the Scottish Executive whether Transport Scotland has a role in determining whether direct London to Glasgow rail services will continue on the east coast main line.

S3W-30223 Hugh O’Donnell: To ask the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body whether the exit signage at the push buttons for the recently installed security turnstiles at the Queensberry House and the Canongate entrances to the Parliamentary campus comply with recommendations on clear and visible signage from any of the organisations that represents people with a visual impairment, such as the RNIB Scotland.

S3W-30224 Kenneth Gibson: To ask the Scottish Executive what the cost is in 2009-10 to (a) each NHS board, (b) each local authority and (c) the remainder of the Scottish block grant of the Chancellor of the Exchequer’s decision to increase employers’ national insurance contributions by 0.5% from 2011.

S3W-30225 Peter Peacock: To ask the Scottish Executive what powers local authorities have to dredge watercourses.

S3W-30226 Peter Peacock: To ask the Scottish Executive what role Scottish Natural Heritage and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency have in any application by a local authority or riparian owner to dredge a watercourse.

S3W-30227 Peter Peacock: To ask the Scottish Executive whether grant funding is available to local authorities to undertake dredging of watercourses and, if so, how much has been allocated to each local authority in each of the last three years.

S3W-30228 Peter Peacock: To ask the Scottish Executive what the impact will be on the timescale for a decision on the Elgin Flood Alleviation Scheme in light of the reporter’s recent request that Moray Council provide further details on downstream of Elgin flood risk.

S3W-30229 Peter Peacock: To ask the Scottish Executive how many applications for the construction or development of hill tracks have been made to Scottish Natural Heritage and local authorities in each of the last five years.

S3W-30230 Peter Peacock: To ask the Scottish Executive how many cases regarding hill tracks have been brought before the Scottish Land Court.

S3W-30231 Robin Harper: To ask the Scottish Executive what discussions it has had with the Sheriffs’ Association regarding licensing appeals under the Marine (Scotland) Bill.

S3W-30232 Robin Harper: To ask the Scottish Executive under what circumstances it considers that compensation of a licensee would be required in the event of the revocation, suspension or modification of a marine licence under section 23 of the Marine (Scotland) Bill in order for that provision to be compliant with the right to peaceful enjoyment of possessions under Article 1 of the First Protocol of the European Convention on Human Rights.

S3W-30233 Robin Harper: To ask the Scottish Executive how it will ensure that the impact on a developer of a decision under section 23(1) of the Marine (Scotland) Bill to suspend, revoke or vary a marine licence for a breach of the licence is proportionate to the breach.

S3W-30234 Robin Harper: To ask the Scottish Executive what examples it can give of relevant reasons under section 23(3)(d) of the Marine (Scotland) Bill for the suspension, revocation or variation of a marine licence.

S3W-30235 Nanette Milne: To ask the Scottish Executive when it next plans to ask NHS boards for an update on progress on performance against asthma services for children and young people clinical standards.
