S2W-32005 Richard Lochhead: To ask the Scottish Executive what powers it has to ban incandescent light bulbs in favour of energy-efficient alternatives.

S2W-32006 Richard Lochhead: To ask the Scottish Executive what the latest position is on negotiations on the future of support for less favoured areas.

S2W-32007 Richard Lochhead: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will clarify the status of the recent Less Favoured Areas Support Scheme payment of £40 million, indicating what balance remains to be paid and whether it was an additional or an advance payment.

S2W-32009 Dr Sylvia Jackson: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will provide an update on its Broadband for Scotland’s Rural and Remote Areas project.

S2W-32010 Dr Sylvia Jackson: To ask the Scottish Executive which communities in the Central Scotland region will not be broadband-enabled by the end of 2007.

S2W-32016 Dr Sylvia Jackson: To ask the Scottish Executive how many recipients of council tax benefit aged 60 or over there were in the Stirling local authority area in each of the last three years for which the information is available, also showing what percentage of the over-60 age group they represented.

S2W-32017 Dr Sylvia Jackson: To ask the Scottish Executive how much has been spent in the Stirling local authority area in each year since 1999 on (a) Bus Service Operators Grant, (b) Bus Route Development Grant, (c) the Rural Community Transport Initiative, (d) the Rural Public Passenger Transport Grants Scheme, (e) demand-responsive transport and (f) public transport and integrated transport funds.

S2W-32018 Dr Sylvia Jackson: To ask the Scottish Executive how many students from low-income backgrounds in the Stirling parliamentary constituency have had their university fees paid from public funds in each year since 2002-03.

S2W-32021 Dr Sylvia Jackson: To ask the Scottish Executive what information it has on the level of expenditure by Scottish Water on infrastructure and, in particular, on maintenance or renewals in the Stirling local authority area and what major projects have been completed in that area since 1999.

S2W-32025 Dr Sylvia Jackson: To ask the Scottish Executive what percentage of mothers in the NHS Forth Valley area were recorded at their six to eight week review as breastfeeding in each year since 1999.

S2W-32026 Dr Sylvia Jackson: To ask the Scottish Executive what the cultural and related services grant aided expenditure and net revenue expenditure was for Stirling Council in each year since 1999.

S2W-32027 Dr Sylvia Jackson: To ask the Scottish Executive what amount of private sector grant was approved by Stirling Council for aids and adaptations for householders in each year since 1999.

S2W-32030 Mrs Nanette Milne: To ask the Scottish Executive how many times NHS Quality Improvement Scotland has decided not to adopt National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidance in each year since 2003.

S2W-32031 Mrs Nanette Milne: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will list the contextual differences cited by NHS Quality Improvement Scotland on the occasions when it has not adopted National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidance.

S2W-32032 Mrs Nanette Milne: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it is satisfied that NHS Quality Improvement Scotland (QIS) fully evaluates the suitability of National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidance for implementation in Scotland based on the criteria in respect of contextual differences outlined by NHS QIS in July 2003.

S2W-32033 Stewart Stevenson: To ask the Scottish Executive how many GPs there were per 1,000 population in each year since 1997, broken down by NHS board.

S2W-32034 Stewart Stevenson: To ask the Scottish Executive how many people are employed in running the NHS staff bank and, of these, how many are managers.

S2W-32035 Stewart Stevenson: To ask the Scottish Executive how many instances of (a) offences against the person, (b) sexual offences, (c) robbery, (d) burglary, (e) theft, (f) fraud, (g) drug offences and (h) motoring offences have been recorded (i) since 1997 and (ii) in the last 12 months in each police force area.

S2W-32036 Stewart Stevenson: To ask the Scottish Executive what proportion of sex offenders in prisons attended the Sex Offender Treatment Programme in each of the last five years.

S2W-32037 Stewart Stevenson: To ask the Scottish Executive what the re-offending rate was of sex offenders who (a) attended and (b) did not attend the Sex Offender Treatment Programme in each of the last five years.

S2W-32038 Stewart Stevenson: To ask the Scottish Executive how many sex offenders released on licence were recalled to prison (a) after and (b) without committing a further crime in each of the last five years.

S2W-32039 Stewart Stevenson: To ask the Scottish Executive how many women were working part-time in (a) 1979 and (b) 2006 and, of these, how many were earning below the lower earnings limit for national insurance.

S2W-32040 Dr Sylvia Jackson: To ask the Scottish Executive what progress is being made in relation to locating one-stop health clinics in the NHS Forth Valley area.

S2W-32041 Dr Sylvia Jackson: To ask the Scottish Executive how many small business start-ups there were in the Stirling local authority area in the last three years and how this number and the rate of business start-ups in the area compare with the average across Scotland.

S2W-32043 Dr Sylvia Jackson: To ask the Scottish Executive what action is being taken to address the causes of homelessness and reduce the prevalence of homeless households in the Stirling local authority area.

S2W-32044 Dr Sylvia Jackson: To ask the Scottish Executive what the participation rate of young people in the Stirling local authority area has been in taking up new apprenticeships in each of the last three years and what action will be taken to deliver more places and encourage more young people to enter apprenticeships.

S2W-32047 Dr Sylvia Jackson: To ask the Scottish Executive what funds have been distributed by it in the last four years with respect to flood management schemes and associated projects, broken down by local authority area.

S2W-32048 Ms Sandra White: To ask the Scottish Executive how many carbon offsetting businesses currently operate in Scotland, giving their names.

S2W-32049 Ms Sandra White: To ask the Scottish Executive what the legal basis is for the sale of the greenhouse gas absorption capability of tree biomass and soil on land owned by local authorities.

S2W-32051 Ms Sandra White: To ask the Scottish Executive what knowledge it had of Highlands and Islands Enterprise’s carbon sequestration rights agreement with Future Forests Limited, now The CarbonNeutral Company.

S2W-32053 Fergus Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S2W-20486 by Lewis Macdonald on 26 September 2006, what progress is being made in establishing a course in clinical dental technology at a dental training institution; when such a course might begin, and what video conferencing provision will be made to enable those who live far from the institution to participate in the course.
