S2W-31879 John Farquhar Munro: To ask the Scottish Executive how much has been spent on the A87 in the last year.

S2W-31880 Jim Mather: To ask the Scottish Executive what meetings have taken place between the Minister for Enterprise and Lifelong Learning and the workforce or trade union representatives of the Simclar plants in Irvine and Kilwinning concerning the closure of the plants and when these meetings took place.

S2W-31881 Jim Mather: To ask the Scottish Executive what meetings have taken place between the Minister for Enterprise and Lifelong Learning and students and staff of the University of Glasgow’s Crichton Campus in Dumfries concerning the university’s decision to withdraw from the campus and when these meetings took place.

S2W-31882 Jim Mather: To ask the Scottish Executive what meetings have taken place between the Minister for Enterprise and Lifelong Learning and students and staff of the University of Dundee concerning the university’s proposals to cut courses and jobs and when these meetings took place.

S2W-31883 Jim Mather: To ask the Scottish Executive what meetings have taken place between the Minister for Enterprise and Lifelong Learning and students and staff of the University of Strathclyde concerning the university’s proposals to cut jobs and when these meetings took place.

S2W-31884 Shona Robison: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will list the 10 local authority (a) areas and (b) wards with the (i) highest and (ii) lowest life expectancies in (A) the latest year for which information is available and (B) 1996-97.

S2W-31885 Shona Robison: To ask the Scottish Executive what estimate it has made of the amount that the NHS will pay to private health care providers in (a) 2007-08 and (b) 2012-13.

S2W-31886 Shona Robison: To ask the Scottish Executive how many accident and emergency departments there were in (a) 1997, (b) 2001 and (c) the latest year for which figures are available, broken down by type, and what forecasts it has made of the numbers and types of accident and emergency departments that will be required in (i) 2008 and (ii) 2010.

S2W-31887 Shona Robison: To ask the Scottish Executive how many (a) consultant-led and (b) midwife-led maternity units there were in (i) 1997, (ii) 2001 and (iii) the latest year for which figures are available and what forecast it has made of the numbers and types of maternity units that will be required in (A) 2008 and (B) 2010.

S2W-31888 Shona Robison: To ask the Scottish Executive how many patients waited for more than (a) six months, (b) 12 months and (c) 24 months for a hearing aid to be issued after an initial hearing test and diagnosis in each year since 1999, broken down by NHS board.

S2W-31889 Shona Robison: To ask the Scottish Executive what the average hospital waiting time was for patients diagnosed with myasthenia gravis in the latest period for which figures are available.

S2W-31890 Stewart Stevenson: To ask the Scottish Executive how many people from ethnic minorities were recruited as (a) police officers and (b) special constables in each police force in each of the last five years and what percentage of the police workforce this represented in each case.

S2W-31891 Stewart Stevenson: To ask the Scottish Executive what the average age of police recruits was in each of the last five years.

S2W-31892 Stewart Stevenson: To ask the Scottish Executive what economic inactivity levels were for 18 to 24-year-olds who were not in full-time education in each quarter since 1990.

S2W-31893 Stewart Stevenson: To ask the Scottish Executive how much it paid in bonuses to civil servants in each year since 1999.

S2W-31894 Stewart Stevenson: To ask the Scottish Executive what the average retirement age was of (a) female and (b) male police officers in each of the last five years.

S2W-31895 Stewart Stevenson: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will list the 10 local authority areas with the (a) biggest and (b) smallest (i) reductions and (ii) increases in the number of (A) burglaries, (B) thefts of a motor vehicle, (C) thefts from a motor vehicle and (D) cases of criminal damage since 1996-97.

S2W-31896 Stewart Stevenson: To ask the Scottish Executive what estimate it has made of crime rates in (a) high and (b) low income communities in (i) the most recent period for which figures are available and (ii) 1996-97.

S2W-31897 Stewart Stevenson: To ask the Scottish Executive how many offences were committed by young people in each of the last 10 years.

S2W-31898 Shona Robison: To ask the Scottish Executive how many people had to wait for hearing tests after referral in each year since 1999, broken down by NHS board.

S2W-31899 Donald Gorrie: To ask the Scottish Executive what discussions it has had with local authorities to create a co-ordinated programme to improve the quality of football pitches and changing facilities in response to concerns illustrated by the march to the Parliament on 14 February 2007.

S2W-31900 Carolyn Leckie: To ask the Scottish Executive whether, in light of the findings published in the Care 21 report, The Future of Unpaid Care in Scotland, it will ensure that all local authorities (a) inform all eligible carers of their right to a carers’ assessment, (b) ensure that all carers receive an individual assessment within a reasonable timescale and (c) improve the quality of carers’ assessments to ensure that all carers receive the support and resources they need and that the assessment makes an appreciable difference to their lives.

S2W-31901 Carolyn Leckie: To ask the Scottish Executive what information it has on the number of public bodies that have implemented employment policies for carers.

S2W-31902 Carolyn Leckie: To ask the Scottish Executive what representations it has made to the UK Government to ensure that every public and private employer implements employment policies for carers.

S2W-31903 Michael Matheson: To ask the Scottish Executive how many start-up businesses were assisted by Business Gateway in each local authority area in 2006.
