PE1026 Petition by Stuart McMillan, calling for the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Executive to exert all its political powers upon BBC Scotland to ensure the corporation provide television coverage of every Scotland National Football Team match and notes the sporting and cultural importance of the national team which should ensure that this issue is highlighted every time the Scottish Executive meet with BBC Scotland.

PE1027 Petition by Kristina Woolnough, on behalf of Blackhall Community Association, calling on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Executive, in the interests of social inclusion, to (a) increase public funding for bus services, particularly in communities where such services are already limited; and (b) ensure that, where bus routes and timetables are to be axed or changed, members of the community are properly consulted.  

PE1028 Petition by Sofiah MacLeod, on behalf of Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign, calling on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Executive and individual MSPs to cancel all contract(s) they have with Eden Springs water company.  

PE1029 Petition by John Black, on behalf of the Scottish Jacobite Party, calling for the Scottish Parliament to consider and debate declaring May 4th a public holiday to be known as "Independence Day".  

PE1030 Petition by Owain Robertson calling on Members of the Scottish Parliament to support an investigation into Chinese human rights abuses, such as those allegedly committed against Tibetan refugees, and to support a boycott of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

PE1031 Petition by Professor Donald M Macdonald calling for Members of the Scottish Parliament to oppose the introduction of any legislation which would permit assisted suicide.
