1. Future Business Programme

It was agreed to recommend to the Parliament a revised business programme for the current week and a future business programme for weeks beginning 15 and 22 March 2004 (for text of motion see Section F of the Business Bulletin for 10 March 2004).

2. Approval of SSIs

It was agreed to recommend to the Parliament that the following instruments be approved:

the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning) (West Coast) (No. 2) (Scotland) Order 2004 (SSI 2004/43);

the draft Civil Legal Aid (Financial Conditions) (Scotland) Regulations 2004;

the draft Advice and Assistance (Financial Conditions) (Scotland) Regulations 2004.

3. National Health Service Reform (Scotland) Bill - Stage 2 referral and

timetable

It was agreed that the National Health Service Reform (Scotland) Bill be referred back to the Health Committee for Stage 2 consideration with a completion date of 2 April 2004.

4. Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Bill: - extension to Stage 2 timetable

It was agreed that the timetable for consideration of the Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Bill at Stage 2 be extended to 17 March 2004.

 

5 Prostitution Tolerance Zones (Scotland) Bill - extension to Stage 1

timetable

It was agreed to recommend to the Parliament that the timetable for consideration of the Prostitution Tolerance Zones (Scotland) Bill at Stage 1 be extended to 2 July 2004.

6. Criminal Procedure (Amendment) (Scotland) Bill - Stage 2 referral and

timetable

It was agreed that the Criminal Procedure (Amendment) (Scotland) Bill be referred back to the Justice 1 Committee for Stage 2 consideration with a completion date of 31 March 2004.

7. Date of next meeting

It was agreed that the next meeting would be held at 2.30pm on Tuesday 16 March 2004.
