S2W-988 Mrs Margaret Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive what the take-up rate of combined MMR vaccinations (a) is currently and (b) was in each of the last five years.

S2W-989 Mrs Margaret Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive what provision is being made for separate vaccinations for mumps, measles and rubella where NHS patients do not wish to present their children for the combined MMR vaccination.

S2W-990 Mrs Margaret Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive from which countries the NHS purchases (a) combined MMR, (b) mumps, (c) measles and (d) rubella vaccines and what the current supply and availability is of each vaccine.

S2W-991 Mrs Margaret Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive what discussions it has had with the Department for Transport regarding British Airways’ response to The Future Development of Air Transport in the United Kingdom: A National Consultation: South East and East England, which indicates that between 30 and 60 take-off and landing slots should be reserved daily at Heathrow Airport for domestic flights, and whether any of these should be specifically reserved for flights to and from Inverness Airport.

S2W-992 Margaret Jamieson: To ask the Scottish Executive how much core funding was allocated to each body sponsored by its Environment and Rural Affairs Department in (a) 2000-01, (b) 2001-02 and (c) 2002-03 and how much will be allocated to each such body in (i) 2003-04, (ii) 2004-05 and (iii) 2005-06.

S2W-993 Tommy Sheridan: To ask the Scottish Executive how many jobs it funds directly and indirectly; of these, how many jobs were in non-departmental public bodies, specifying which bodies, and how many, and which, jobs attracted an annual salary of (a) 50,000-100,000, (b) 100,001-150,000, (c) 150,001-200,000 and (d) over 200,000.

S2W-994 Mr Adam Ingram: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S2W-592 by Nicol Stephen on 19 June 2003, what the purpose is of the Thistle Travel Card Scheme; what the scheme’s eligibility criteria are; when the scheme was established; how many people are participating in the scheme; where they are from, and in which areas it operates.

S2W-995 Alex Fergusson: To ask the Scottish Executive what steps it is taking to review the grant funding that it makes available to the ME Association following the recent resignations of three board members because of concerns about the financial affairs of the charity.

S2W-996 Mr Brian Monteith: To ask the Scottish Executive what the average waiting time for a hearing aid is in (a) the Fife NHS Board area and (b) Scotland.

S2W-997 Nicola Sturgeon: To ask the Scottish Executive when it will introduce a family law bill, as referred to in A Partnership for a Better Scotland.

S2W-998 Mr Kenny MacAskill: To ask the Scottish Executive what assessment it has made of extending the planned Stirling to Kincardine rail line to the port of Rosyth; what the additional technical and cost requirements would be of doing so; what advice, or guidance, has been given to the promoters of the project about any possible extension, and what information is available on these matters in the event of such an extension being constructed at a date later than the completion of the line to Kincardine.

S2W-999 Alasdair Morgan: To ask the Scottish Executive what percentage of the population has participated in sporting activities in each year since 1987.

S2W-1000 Mr Rob Gibson: To ask the Scottish Executive what payments have been made under the Less Favoured Area Support Scheme in 2003-04, broken down by local authority area.

S2W-1001 Mr Rob Gibson: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will include a requirement for the level of each payment under the Less Favoured Areas Support Scheme to be made public in the conditions of payment for the scheme in 2004-05.

S2W-1002 John Swinburne: To ask the Scottish Executive what plans it has to introduce measures to reduce the financial impact of the council tax on pensioner households, given that increases in council tax over the last 10 years have been greater than the rate of inflation.

S2W-1003 John Swinburne: To ask the Scottish Executive what plans it has to carry out a revaluation of the current council tax bands.

S2W-1004 Mike Rumbles: To ask the Scottish Executive when people with dementia will be eligible for Blue Badges following its research into the recommendations made by the Disabled Persons Transport Advisory Committee in Review of the Disabled Persons Parking Scheme (The Blue Badge Scheme): Recommendations for change.

S2W-1005 Richard Lochhead: To ask the Scottish Executive what the median waiting time was for (a) cardiac surgery, (b) general surgery and (c) child psychiatry in the (i) Grampian University Hospitals NHS Trust area and (ii) Scotland in the latest quarter for which figures are available.

S2W-1006 Richard Lochhead: To ask the Scottish Executive what additional authority or powers it expects to acquire as a result of the recent cabinet reshuffle of Her Majesty’s Government.

S2W-1007 Mike Pringle: To ask the Scottish Executive what representations it has received about the designation of the Darwin Mounds as a special area of conservation under the EU habitats and birds directives.

S2W-1008 Mike Pringle: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will enter into discussions with Her Majesty’s Government and representatives of the fishing industry about the designation of the Darwin Mounds as a special area of conservation under the EU birds and habitats directives.

S2W-1009 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive what representations it is making to Her Majesty's Government regarding a review of the unemployment key economic need indicator, which takes no account of the out-migration of young people from rural areas, such as the south of Scotland, and whether it will review its Scottish Indices of Deprivation 2003, which does not take account of indicators associated with population change and economic fragility.

S2W-1010 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive what representations it has made to Her Majesty's Government regarding the importance of European funding to the south of Scotland for infrastructure support.

S2W-1011 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive what European structural funding has been allocated in the south of Scotland and to which projects in (a) 1999-2000, (b) 2000-01, (c) 2001-02, (d) 2002-03 and (e) 2003-04 to date.

S2W-1012 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive what European structural funding has been allocated to (a) each local enterprise company, (b) local authority and (c) area tourist board in the south of Scotland in (i) 1999-2000, (ii) 2000-01, (iii) 2001-02, (iv) 2002-03 and (v) 2003-04 to date, expressed also as a percentage of the economic development budget of each body.

S2W-1013 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive what its position is on the proposals of the Department of Trade and Industry on European structural funding and regional policy and their impact on the south of Scotland economy and, in particular, whether a ring-fenced funding policy for the area would be appropriate given the economic situation there.

S2W-1014 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive what representations it has made to Her Majesty's Government to promote a regional development framework in the context of European development policy.

S2W-1015 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive what progress has been made regarding a regional policy, as referred to in A Framework for Economic Development in Scotland.

S2W-1016 Jim Mather: To ask the Scottish Executive what steps it will take to inform Sir Michael Lyons’ independent review into the scope for relocating civil service and public sector jobs, currently based in London and the south-east of England, to other areas of the United Kingdom and when it will meet with Sir Michael as part of this review.

S2W-1017 Richard Lochhead: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to the first supplementary question to question S2O-229 by Malcolm Chisholm on 19 June 2003 (Official Report, c 968-969), on what issues it has sought legal advice in respect of interpreting the Scotland Act 1998 in order to assist negotiations with Her Majesty's Government about financial assistance for people infected with hepatitis C through contaminated blood and blood products while undergoing NHS treatment.

S2W-1018 Richard Lochhead: To ask the Scottish Executive which joint ministerial committee meetings it has attended; what the subject was of each such meeting; which minister attended, and which meetings it has not attended.
