The following Petitions were lodged with the Parliament on 7 May 2003—

PE630 Petition by David C Wilson, calling for the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Executive to publish advice and guidance regarding the eligibility of Listed Buildings in Scotland for National Lottery funding.

PE631 Petition by James A Mackie, calling for the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Executive to investigate the effects on future employment, housing and insurance cover for individuals who were prescribed neuroleptic and other similar drugs as children.

PE632 Petition by Duncan Shields, calling for the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Executive to (a) take the necessary steps to ensure that lawyers cannot sell heritable property when authorised to do so by the courts if they have previously refused to act on behalf of the owners of such property; and (b) investigate whether the refusal of lawyers to act on behalf of individuals in such cases breaches Article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights.

PE633 Petition by Duncan Shields, calling for the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Executive to take the necessary steps to eliminate alleged discrimination against fathers by the courts, social services and others in relation to decisions which result in children being separated from their fathers.

PE634 Petition by David C Wilson, calling for the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Executive to take the necessary steps to ensure that every effort is made to ensure the preservation of buildings of architectural merit.

PE635 Petition by Duncan Shields, on behalf of the International Men’s Organisation and Fathers Fighting Injustice, calling for the Scottish Parliament to investigate and take action in relation to alleged widespread perjury in child custody cases in Scottish courts.

PE636 Petition by Krystyna Ost, calling for the Scottish Parliament to investigate the alleged unfair bias exercised by those parties to whom complaints relating to the legal system in Scotland are made.
