S1W-33409 Mary Scanlon: To ask the Scottish Executive whether thimerosal in vaccines can damage the nervous system, kidneys, joints and general development of children.

S1W-33410 Tommy Sheridan: To ask the Scottish Executive what level of emergency fire cover was available in Glasgow on 21 January 2003 and whether the number of fire appliances was lower in relation to their geographical spread than on previous strike days.

S1W-33411 Tommy Sheridan: To ask the Scottish Executive why it took 27 minutes for green goddesses to arrive at the fire at Young Street, Springburn on 21 January 2003 and which fire station did the appliances come from.

S1W-33412 Tommy Sheridan: To ask the Scottish Executive whether the police made any preliminary survey of the fire at Young Street, Springburn on 21 January 2003 before calling out the green goddesses and whether any such action resulted in any delay to the fire being tackled.

S1W-33413 Tommy Sheridan: To ask the Scottish Executive how many (a) registered addicts, (b) seizures, (c) crimes, (d) arrests, (e) convictions and (f) deaths in relation to illegal drug supply and use there have been in each of the last four years, broken down by drug, and what the cost of drug-related crime has been.

S1W-33414 Tommy Sheridan: To ask the Scottish Executive how many (a) arrests, (b) convictions and (c) deaths relating to cannabis supply and use there have been in each of the last four years.

S1W-33415 Tommy Sheridan: To ask the Scottish Executive how many (a) arrests, (b) convictions and (c) deaths relating to heroin supply and use there have been in each of the last four years.

S1W-33416 Tommy Sheridan: To ask the Scottish Executive how many (a) alcohol-related deaths and (b) registered alcoholics there have been in each of the last four years.

S1W-33417 Tommy Sheridan: To ask the Scottish Executive how many smoking-related deaths there have been and how many people smoked regularly in each age group in each of the last four years.

S1W-33418 Mr Adam Ingram: To ask the Scottish Executive what bids under the Strategic Waste Fund each local authority has made since the fund was established to investigate cost benefits from joint ventures between partner local authorities (a) within and (b) between waste strategy areas and what funding was awarded in respect of each bid.

S1W-33419 Mr Adam Ingram: To ask the Scottish Executive what awards under the Strategic Waste Fund have been made to each local authority since the fund was established.

S1W-33420 Mary Scanlon: To ask the Scottish Executive what plans it has to fine local authorities that fail to provide sufficient long-term care for elderly patients.

S1W-33421 Mary Scanlon: To ask the Scottish Executive which NHS trusts have (a) in-house and (b) private contracts for cleaning services.

S1W-33422 Elaine Smith: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it plans to reassess present care systems and services for looked after children, in the light of the Report from the Working Group on the Throughcare and Aftercare of Looked After Children in Scotland and the results of the Who Cares? Scotland questionnaire in respect of the timing of young people leaving care and the impact on academic attainment.

S1W-33423 Mr Michael McMahon: To ask the Scottish Executive when the report of the Youth Court Feasibility Group, announced as part of its ten-point youth crime action plan in June 2002, will be available.

S1W-33424 Dennis Canavan: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will issue a circular to all local authorities instructing that all future contracts with bus operators for school transport provision must stipulate that seat belts are fitted on all buses carrying children to and from school.
