S1W-30074 Nora Radcliffe: To ask the Scottish Executive what policies and procedures the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service has in place to ensure that equal opportunities policies, particularly in respect of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people, are incorporated into the service’s activities.

S1W-30075 Nora Radcliffe: To ask the Scottish Executive how its community safety grant-making policies and monitoring procedures ensure that the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities are addressed by local authorities in their service provision.

S1W-30076 Andrew Wilson: To ask the Scottish Executive to which of its buildings, other than those under care or control of Historic Scotland, it has allowed the public access under Doors Open Day schemes in each of the last three years.

S1W-30077 Robin Harper: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will consult universities and the Scottish Higher Education Funding Council about resolving any problems with the cost of safely storing and disposing of radioactive material used in university research.

S1W-30078 Mr Murray Tosh: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will give injury accident statistics for each of the last six years for the A7 trunk road south of Galashiels, broken down to show statistics for the sections at Boleside and in the vicinity of Groundistone that are under consideration for inclusion in improvements to be recommended in the A6091/A7 Route Action Plan.

S1W-30079 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive how many 14-to 16-year-olds have been held in adult prisons in (a) 1999-2000, (b) 2000-01, (c) 2001-02 and (d) 2002-03 to date.

S1W-30080 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive how many incidents of self-harm have been recorded in HM Prison Cornton Vale in (a) 1999-2000, (b) 2000-01, (c) 2001-02 and (d) 2002-03 to date.

S1W-30081 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive how many prisoners have been taken from HM Prison Cornton Vale to hospital for reasons other than for routine treatment in (a) 1999-2000, (b) 2000-01, (c) 2001-02 and (d) 2002-03 to date.

S1W-30082 Mr Kenneth Macintosh: To ask the Scottish Executive what the outcome was of the policy and financial management review of the Scottish Children’s Reporter Administration.

S1W-30083 Alex Fergusson: To ask the Scottish Executive what plans it has to standardise qualifications for nursery nurses.

S1W-30085 Alex Fergusson: To ask the Scottish Executive how much is raised through modulation in each Environment and Rural Affairs Department area and how much each such area receives through schemes funded by modulation. R

S1W-30086 Nicola Sturgeon: To ask the Scottish Executive on what scientific evidence the Supply Chain Initiative on Modified Agricultural Crops guidelines recommending separation distances between GM and non-GM crops are based.

S1W-30087 Nicola Sturgeon: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it retains confidence in the separation distances contained in the Supply Chain Initiative on Modified Agricultural Crops guidelines following the report in the Sunday Times on 15 September 2002 regarding the contamination with GM pollen of honey from hives in the Newport area which are two miles from the on-going GM oil seed rape farm scale evaluation.

S1W-30088 Nicola Sturgeon: To ask the Scottish Executive whether the introduction of GM organisms into the food chain as a result of the contamination of honey with GM pollen breaches any laws and, if so, which specific laws are breached.

S1W-30089 Nicola Sturgeon: To ask the Scottish Executive whether there is any proposal for compensating beekeepers and farmers whose produce may be contaminated by GM crop trials.

S1W-30090 Nicola Sturgeon: To ask the Scottish Executive whether the Care Commission always charges independent health care services the maximum fee of 510 as detailed in the schedule to the Regulation of Care (Fees) (Scotland) Order 2002 in respect of the variation of removal of condition.

S1W-30091 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive whether any decision has been made to locate the offices of the public sector ombudsman in Edinburgh and, if so, what consultation took place prior to such a decision.

S1W-30092 Roseanna Cunningham: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S1W-28728 by Mr Jim Wallace on 26 September 2002, why the answer did not give full details of each notice received.

S1W-30094 Nora Radcliffe: To ask the Scottish Executive what specific funding will be made available to deliver the top priority public transport projects flowing from the Central Scotland Transport Corridor studies, as promised in Building a Better Scotland – Spending Proposals 2003-2006: What the money buys.

S1W-30095 Nora Radcliffe: To ask the Scottish Executive whether the proposed rail link between Airdrie and Bathgate will be a priority under its spending proposals for 2003-06.

S1W-30096 Nora Radcliffe: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it remains committed to the stabilisation of road traffic at 2001 levels by 2021, as referred to in Scotland’s Transport: Delivering Improvement.

S1W-30097 Nora Radcliffe: To ask the Scottish Executive when the results of the consultation on the Physical Activity Task Force strategy will be published.

S1W-30098 Nora Radcliffe: To ask the Scottish Executive, with regard to note 4 on page 46 of Building a Better Scotland - Spending Proposals 2003-2006: What the money buys, whether the structure of the Public Transport Fund will change as a result of being included in its transport spending plans instead of in the Local Government Spending Plans.
