  1. Future Business Programme
  2. It was agreed to recommend to the Parliament future business, as proposed for the week commencing 18 March including the timetabling for Stage 3 of the Sexual Offences (Procedure and Evidence) (Scotland) Bill and Stages 2 and 3 of the Fur Farming (Prohibition) (Scotland) Bill(for text of motions see Section F of the Business Bulletin for 6 March 2002).

  3. Scottish Parliamentary Standards Commissioner Bill
  4. It was agreed to recommend to the Parliament that an ad hoc committee be established to consider the Bill at Stage 2 and that the Convener and deputy Convener would come from the SNP and the Labour Parties respectively.

  5. Referral of Bills at Stage 2
  6. It was agreed to refer the Education (Disability Strategies and Pupils’ Records) (Scotland) Bill back to the Education, Culture and Sport Committee and that the business motion should include a recommendation that Stage 2 be completed by 29 March 2002.

  7. Justice 2 Committee: Request to Extend the Appointment of an Adviser

The Committee’s request to extend the appointment of its adviser for the inquiry on the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service was agreed to.
