*S1M-2752 Irene Oldfather: European Committee 9th Report, 2001: Report on the Governance of the European Union and the Future of Europe: What Role for Scotland?—That the Parliament notes the 9th Report, 2001 of the European Committee, Report on the Governance of the European Union and the Future of Europe: What Role for Scotland? (SP Paper 466) and commends the recommendations to the Scottish Executive.

*S1M-2751 Stewart Stevenson: Peterhead Academy - 2002 Rock Challenge—That the Parliament congratulates Peterhead Academy on winning the Scottish heat of the 2002 Rock Challenge, an international performing arts competition, with their superb production and performance of "When the Boat Comes in"; endorses the aims of the Rock Challenge which encourages young people to be the best they can without the use of alcohol or drugs, and wishes Peterhead Academy every success in the next stage of the competition to be held in May.

*S1M-2750 Irene Oldfather: British Town Crier Championships 2002, Kilwinning—That the Parliament notes that the forthcoming British Town Crier Championships will be held in Kilwinning, Ayrshire on 15 June 2002; recognises that this is the first time the championships have ever been held in Scotland; welcomes the fact that the colourful nature of this event will give a much needed boost to the local tourist economy; congratulates the organising committee for their efforts in securing the championships for Kilwinning, and calls upon VisitScotland to take advantage of this unique opportunity to promote Scottish tourism.

*S1M-2749 Iain Gray: The Draft Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 (Licensing of Houses in Multiple Occupation) Amendment Order 2002—That the Social Justice Committee recommends that the draft Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 (Licensing of Houses in Multiple Occupation) Amendment Order 2002 be approved.
