S1W-15783 Linda Fabiani: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S1W-14944 by Jackie Baillie on 30 April 2001, whether it has sought any information from voluntary organisations and charities on the extent of any loss of income which they have incurred due to the cancellation of countryside events because of the foot-and-mouth disease outbreak and whether it has any plans to introduce any compensation scheme for such organisations and charities.

S1W-15784 Linda Fabiani: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the supplementary answer to question S10-3376 by Rhona Brankin on 10 May 2001, what evidence it has that outgoing trunk road operating companies neglected the clearing of litter from motorways during the final months of the old contracts and left a legacy for the new operating companies to address; who compiled any such evidence; what additional payments have been requested by or made to the new operating companies to clear any backlog, and whether any such additional costs would be recovered from the outgoing companies and, if so, how.

S1W-15786 Irene McGugan: To ask the Scottish Executive whether any minimum age has been set below which the morning-after pill will not be prescribed.

S1W-15787 Maureen Macmillan: To ask the Scottish Executive how the Scottish Legal Aid Board will handle any increased workload flowing from recent and anticipated policy developments while maintaining and improving its standards.

S1W-15788 Mr Lloyd Quinan: To ask the Scottish Executive what progress has been made in the establishment of a Scottish Service Network for autistic spectrum disorder and who any members appointed to the network are.

S1W-15789 Mr Lloyd Quinan: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will set out the areas of priority for the Scottish Service Network for autistic spectrum disorder.

S1W-15792 Mr Lloyd Quinan: To ask the Scottish Executive what mechanisms are in place to ensure that the progress of the work carried out by the Scottish Service Network is accurately monitored.

S1W-15793 Mr Lloyd Quinan: To ask the Scottish Executive what guidance it has issued to local authorities to ensure a coherent approach in supporting adults with autism and Asperger’s syndrome.

S1W-15794 Mr Lloyd Quinan: To ask the Scottish Executive what plans it has for an awareness campaign to highlight difficulties faced by those with autism and Asperger’s syndrome.

S1W-15795 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive how much of the £13.5 million additional funding for businesses affected by the foot-and-mouth disease outbreak announced on 28 March 2001 has been or will be allocated to Scottish Borders Council.

S1W-15796 Alex Johnstone: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has been counting adjacent outbreaks of foot-and-mouth disease as single outbreaks.

S1W-15797 Christine Grahame: To ask the Presiding Officer why the Official Reports for meetings of committees of the Parliament are not published within seven days of a committee’s last meeting and how the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body will ensure that committee members and interested parties have the Official Report before a committee’s next meeting to allow all evidence to be considered.

S1W-15798 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive how many qualified lip-reading tutors there were at 31 March in each year since 1997-98, broken down by local authority area.

S1W-15799 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive how many audiologists were in post at 31 March in each year since 1997-98, broken down by health board.

S1W-15800 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S1W-9539 by Malcolm Chisholm on 31 January 2001, what funding for the training of lip-reading tutors has been and will be made available under the Social Work (Scotland) Act 1968 and by any other means, in the current financial year and in any future years.

S1W-15804 Dr Elaine Murray: To ask the Scottish Executive how many (a) sheep, (b) cattle and (c) other animals have been slaughtered in the Dumfries and Galloway area under the pre-emptive foot-and-mouth cull strategy, up to and including 15 May 2001.

S1W-15805 Dr Elaine Murray: To ask the Scottish Executive how many (a) sheep, (b) cattle and (c) other animals have been slaughtered in the Dumfries and Galloway area because premises were, or were suspected of being, infected with the foot-and-mouth virus, up to and including 15 May 2001.

S1W-15806 Dr Elaine Murray: To ask the Scottish Executive what the total (a) capital and (b) revenue budget is of each local authority in the current financial year.

S1W-15807 Dr Elaine Murray: To ask the Scottish Executive what the total (a) capital and (b) revenue budget is of each local enterprise company in the current financial year.

S1W-15808 Dr Elaine Murray: To ask the Scottish Executive what the total (a) capital and (b) revenue budget is of each area tourist board in the current financial year.
