S1W-10052 Mrs Lyndsay McIntosh: To ask the Scottish Executive how many local authorities have formulated local biodiversity action plans and which authorities these are.

S1W-10053 Mr Keith Harding: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has any plans, as part of its Modernising Government programme, to introduce a quality mark scheme for public bodies.

S1W-10054 Rhoda Grant: To ask the Scottish Executive what arrangements are in place to provide supportive training for disadvantaged school leavers and what plans it has to develop this provision.

S1W-10056 Lewis Macdonald: To ask the Scottish Executive, with reference to paragraph 2.4 of the final Arbuthnott report, whether the mid-year estimate of population employed in deciding the allocation of resources for hospital and community health services and for general practitioner prescribing will be updated on an annual basis.

S1W-10057 Lewis Macdonald: To ask the Scottish Executive, with reference to paragraph 2.3 of the final Arbuthnott report, whether the mid-year estimate of population employed in deciding the allocation of resources for financial year 2001-02 will be the mid-year estimate for 1999.

S1W-10058 Lewis Macdonald: To ask the Scottish Executive what adjustments are made in the allocation of resources for general practitioner prescribing and general medical services to take account of the additional demands associated with offshore workers and other workers resident in a health board area for a substantial part of each year.

S1W-10059 Lewis Macdonald: To ask the Scottish Executive what adjustments are made in the allocation of resources for hospital and community health services to take account of the additional demands associated with offshore workers and other workers resident in a health board area for a substantial part of each year.

S1W-10060 Lewis Macdonald: To ask the Scottish Executive what each health board’s current allocation of resources for general medical services in 2000-01 is and how each of these allocations will change in (a) the current financial year and (b) future financial years as a result of these resources being allocated on the basis of the community health index.

S1W-10061 George Lyon: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it plans to introduce local government legislation which will allow community councils the right to receive additional funding and funding which is on a consistent basis across Scotland.

S1W-10062 George Lyon: To ask the Scottish Executive what representations it has received from community councils that they should become precepting authorities.

S1W-10063 Mary Scanlon: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has any concerns about the impact of the chemical gels used in the manufacture of disposable nappies on the health of children and, following disposal, on the environment.
