Section I - Petitions lodged between 28 July and 3rd August 2000

 

  

The following Petitions were lodged with the Parliament on 28 July 2000-

PE255 Petition by Mr Frank Harvey calling for the Scottish Parliament to take immediate action to ban the use of general anaesthetics in Scottish dental surgeries.

PE256 Petition by Mr Browning on behalf of various retailers in Polwarth calling for the Scottish Parliament to improve the Children's Report procedures to quickly remove persistent criminals from society and to press the Scottish Executive to reject proposals regarding criminal responsibility and the hearings system contained in the "Stop Youth Crime Now" paper.

The following Petitions were lodged with the Parliament on 3 August 2000-

PE257 Petition by Mr Frank Harvey calling for the Scottish Parliament to order a public enquiry into the Kingston Bridge, highlighting all aspects of design and construction which have necessitated the forthcoming repairs and suggesting what could be done to avoid future disruptions to the traffic flow across it.
