The Committee reports to the Parliament as follows—

1. At its meeting on 2 March 2010, the Health and Sport Committee considered the following instruments.

The Community Care (Personal Care and Nursing Care) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2011

2. The Committee considered the Community Care (Personal Care and Nursing Care) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2011. This instrument was laid on 2 February 2011 and is subject to affirmative procedure.

3. Minister for Public Health and Sport, Shona Robison MSP, moved motion S3M-07889—

That the Health and Sport Committee recommends that the Community Care (Personal Care and Nursing Care) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2011 be approved.

4. The motion was agreed to.

The Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010 (Consequential Modifications) Order 2011

5. The Committee considered the Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010 (Consequential Modifications) Order 2011. This instrument was laid on 2 February 2011 and is subject to affirmative procedure.

6. Minister for Public Health and Sport, Shona Robison MSP, moved motion S3M-07874—

That the Health and Sport Committee recommends that the Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010 (Consequential Modifications) Order 2011 be approved.

7. The motion was agreed to.

The Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland (Requirements for Care Services) Regulations 2011

8. The Committee considered the Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland (Requirements for Care Services) Regulations 2011. This instrument was laid on 2 February 2011 and is subject to affirmative procedure.

9. Minister for Public Health and Sport, Shona Robison MSP, moved motion S3M-07882—

That the Health and Sport Committee recommends that the Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland (Requirements for Care Services) Regulations 2011 be approved.

10. The motion was agreed to.

The National Health Service (Free Prescriptions and Charges for Drugs and Appliances) (Scotland) Regulations 2011 (SSI/2011/55)

11. The Committee considered the National Health Service (Free Prescriptions and Charges for Drugs and Appliances) (Scotland) Regulations 2011 (SSI/2011/55). This instrument was laid on 2 February 2011 and is subject to negative procedure.

12. Mary Scanlon MSP moved motion S3M-8011—

That the Health and Sport Committee recommends that nothing further be done under the National Health Service (Free Prescriptions and Charges for Drugs and Appliances) (Scotland) Regulations 2011 (SSI/2011/55).
