MINUTES

The meeting opened at 9.31am.

The Committee began by agreeing that it would deal with Items 4 and 5 in private session.

1. Annual Report

The Committee agreed a draft text to be included in the Annual Report of all sixteen Parliament Committees.

2. Cross-Party Groups

The Committee approved the cross-party group on Drug Misuse and Gaelic and agreed to seek further clarification on the proposed application on CND.

 

3. Referral From Parliamentary Bureau

The Committee agreed, with some minor amendments, a paper on the Relationships Between MSPs and further agreed that the Convener lodge a motion proposing that it be annexed to the Code of Conduct.

As previously agreed the Committee moved into private session at 10.10am

 

4. Appointment of Temporary Standards Adviser

The Committee agreed a paper on the procedure for the appointment of a temporary standards adviser to be submitted to the SPCB.

5. Models of Investigation

The Committee considered a draft report on its inquiry into models of investigation and agreed to consider a further draft by correspondence.
