1. Item in private: The Committee agreed to not take item 4 in private.
2. Antisocial Behaviour etc. (Scotland) Bill: The Committee considered the discussion of its Stage 1 report in sections of the media prior to its publication. The Committee agreed to consider a paper by the clerks on the matter at its next meeting.
3. Fire Sprinklers in Residential Premises (Scotland) Bill: The Committee took oral evidence at Stage 1 from-
   
   Panel 1
   
   John Blackwood, Secretary, Scottish Association of Landlords;
   
   David Bookbinder, Policy and Practice Co-ordinator, Scottish Federation of Housing Associations;
   
   Alister McDonald, Depute Chief Executive, Bield Housing Association;
   
   Sandy Lorimer, Team Leader and Gary Black, Building Control Manager, Scottish Association of Building Standards Managers.
   
   The meeting was suspended from 11.10 am to 11.19 am.

   Glyn Evans, Fire Safety Adviser and Kenny Munro, Regional Safety Adviser, Fire Brigades Union.
   
   The Committee agreed to consider the approach to its draft report at stage 1 at its next meeting in private.
4. Budget process 2005-06: The Committee agreed its approach to Stage 1 of the Budget process.
