3. National Arts Companies Inquiry: The Committee will take evidence on the national arts companies from the Scottish Arts Council and from Scottish Opera and Scottish Ballet.

PE17 by Comhairle nan Eilean Siar on Skye Bridge tolls discounting options for Western Isles residents

PE27 by Skye and Kyle Against Tolls on toll concessions for the transport of livestock, feedstuffs ad other haulage across the Skye Bridge

PE21 by Penicuik and District Community Council on the need for a concessionary bus fare scheme to be operated nationally by the Scottish Executive

PE 22 by Island of Cumbrae Tourist Association on the fare structure of Caledonian MacBrayne for the ferry to Cumbrae Island and calling for more detailed financial information to be made available

4. Work Programme: The Committee will consider its Work Programme to December 1999.
