PE835 Petition by David Morrison, on behalf of the New Party, calling for the Scottish Parliament to reduce income tax by three pence in the pound in order to stimulate the Scottish economy and to urge the Scottish Executive to commission a study to examine the case for Scotland following other countries, such as Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Slovakia, who have introduced a "flat tax" structure in order to encourage a more dynamic and competitive economy in the longer term and to report its findings to all interested parties, including the Westminster Parliament.

PE836 Petition by Ronald E Conway, on behalf of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, calling on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Executive to review as a matter of urgency the Prescription and Limitation (Scotland) Act 1973 and, in particular, sections 17 and 19a of the Act in relation to compensation for injured people.
