The National Health Service (Charges for Drugs and Appliances) (Scotland) Regulations 2001 (SSI 2001/430)

The National Health Service (Superannuation Scheme, Injury Benefits and Compensation for Premature Retirement) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2001 (SSI 2001/437)

The Community Care (Direct Payments) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2001 (SSI 2001/447)

The Miscellaneous Food Additives (Amendment) (No.2) (Scotland) Regulations 2001 (SSI 2001/450).

3. Community Care and Health (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will consider the Bill at Stage 2 (Day 2).

4. Report on Hepatitis C: The Committee will consider a draft response to the Scottish Executive proposals.

2. Complaint Against Lloyd Quinan MSP: The Committee will continue its consideration of the Adviser’s report.

3. Complaint Against Lloyd Quinan MSP: The Committee will consider whether there has been a breach of the Code of Conduct.

4. Cross Party Groups: The Committee will consider a further paper on the application of Rule 12 of section 8.3 of the Code of Conduct.

5. Standards Commissioner (in private): The Committee will consider a draft of its Standards Commissioner Committee Bill.

 

Transport and the Environment Committee

1. Items in Private: The Committee will consider whether to take items 5, 6 and 7 in private.

2. Water Industry (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will consider the Bill at Stage 2 (Day 1).

3. Subordinate Legislation: The Committee will consider the following negative instrument—

The Smoke Control Areas (Authorised Fuels) (Scotland) Regulations 2001, (SSI 2001/433).

4. Public Petition: The Committee will consider Petition PE357 by Aberdeen City Council on Investment Transport Infrastructure.

5. Witness Expenses: The Committee will consider whether to approve claims for expenses in relation to witnesses on its aquaculture inquiry.

6. Committee Visits: The Committee will consider possible visits by the Committee and the Committee’s Reporters which would require approval by the Convener’s Liaison Group.

7. Aquaculture Research Co-ordinator: The Committee will consider a paper by the Reporters on the proposed appointment of a research co-ordinator.

2. Regulation of the Legal Profession Inquiry: The Committee will take evidence on the inquiry from—

Linda Costelloe Baker, Scottish Legal Services Ombudsman and Anne Millan and Carolyn Pithie, Complaints Investigators, Office of the Scottish Legal Services Ombudsman,

Colin Campbell, Dean of Faculty, Neil Brailsford QC, Treasurer of Faculty, Eugene Creally, Clerk of Faculty and Shona Haldane, Advocate, Member of Faculty, Faculty of Advocates, and

Alistair Sim, Associate Director, Marsh UK.

3. Item in Private: The Committee will decide whether to consider its final report on the general principles of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Bill at Stage 1 in private at its next meeting.

4. Freedom of Information (Scotland) Bill (in private): The Committee will consider its draft report at Stage 1 of the Bill.

 

Enterprise and Lifelong Learning Committee

2. Lifelong Learning Inquiry: The Committee will take evidence from—

Malcolm Barron (President) Catriona Eagle (Member of ICG and Duffner Committee) and Jo Noblett (Member and Scottish Branch Office Bearer) of the Institute of Career Guidance.

3. Tourism Research: The Committee will discuss its proposed bid for external research on tourism.

4. Committee Work Programme 2002: The Committee will discuss its work programme.

5. Lifelong Learning Inquiry: The Committee will discuss the key issues and general approach for the interim report.
