S1W-11302 Mr Kenny MacAskill: To ask the Scottish Executive whether there have been any increased costs to Scottish ports or harbour boards caused by light dues levied on visiting cruise liners and ships using cargo freight who call at Scottish ports and harbours and whether it will detail any representations made regarding this.
S1W-11414 Dr Elaine Murray: To ask the Scottish Executive which of the Scottish agricultural and biological research institutes have achieved Investors in People (IiP) status or other similar awards and which are expected to achieve IiP by the end of December 2000.
S1W-11415 Dr Elaine Murray: To ask the Scottish Executive what steps it is taking to promote football for women and girls.
S1W-11416 Bruce Crawford: To ask the Scottish Executive what discussions it has held with rail freight operating companies about any difficulties they are experiencing in accessing the rail system at appropriate times.
S1W-11417 Bruce Crawford: To ask the Scottish Executive whether the Minister for Transport attended the recent meeting involving the Deputy Prime Minister and Sir Alastair Morton, director of the Shadow Strategic Rail Authority, and what specific input was made by the Minister prior to or at the meeting.
S1W-11419 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S1W-10632 by Sarah Boyack on 8 November 2000 and to motion S1M-922 agreed by the Parliament on 1 June 2000, whether it is making or has made any representations to the Shadow Strategic Rail Authority regarding funding for full reinstatement of the line between Edinburgh and Carlisle.
S1W-11420 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive what the basis is of its estimate that 70,000 pensioners will benefit from its proposed central heating scheme.
S1W-11421 Richard Lochhead: To ask the Scottish Executive how much of the Scottish Enterprise national budget, expressed in monetary, percentage and per capita terms, was allocated to each local enterprise company in (a) the current financial year and (b) each of the last three financial years.
S1W-11422 Richard Lochhead: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has any plans to make representations to the Independent Television Commission regarding ITVís plans for Scottish regional news slots following the rearrangement of the schedules.
S1W-11423 Bruce Crawford: To ask the Scottish Executive what the effect will be on the timetable for construction of the M77 between Malletsheugh and Fenwick if construction of the Glasgow Southern Orbital route does not proceed.
S1W-11424 Bruce Crawford: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will give a commitment to proceeding with construction work on the M77 between Malletsheugh and Fenwick regardless of the outcome of the public inquiry into the Glasgow South Orbital Route.
S1W-11425 Bruce Crawford: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S1W-10194 by Sarah Boyack on 25 October 2000, what areas of air freight traffic have shown growth over the last ten years; by what percentage each area has grown over this period, and what projections of air freight traffic levels are available for the next ten years.
S1W-11426 Mr Alex Salmond: To ask the Scottish Executive what importance it is attaching to training in developing its strategy for Scottish agriculture.
S1W-11427 Richard Lochhead: To ask the Scottish Executive how many times the Ministerial Committee on Rural Development has met, when it will next meet and what steps have been taken to communicate information on its activities to the Parliament.
S1W-11428 Ms Sandra White: To ask the Scottish Executive what action it is taking to deal with any increase in the incidence of tuberculosis amongst elderly people.
S1W-11429 Dorothy-Grace Elder: To ask the Scottish Executive what guidance it or Her Majesty's Government have made available to health boards and what representations it has made to Her Majesty's Government or the General Dental Council (GDC) about the training, rules and qualifications required by dental practitioners; whether any of this guidance requires review in the light of recent cases being considered by the GDC, and what steps will be taken to ensure that every dental practitioner fully complies with any such guidance.
S1W-11430 Dorothy-Grace Elder: To ask the Scottish Executive how many allegations of professional misconduct or malpractice have been made against dental practitioners or their staff in each of the last five years, broken down by health board area.
S1W-11431 Dorothy-Grace Elder: To ask the Scottish Executive how many individuals have died during or as a result of dental treatment in each of the last five years, broken down by age and health board.
S1W-11432 Dorothy-Grace Elder: To ask the Scottish Executive which organisations who work with chronic pain sufferers it currently funds; how much funding it has made available to each organisation in the current financial year, and what plans it has to provide additional funding to these or other organisations in the future.
S1W-11433 Alex Johnstone: To ask the Scottish Executive how many EU regulations affecting Scottish agriculture have been implemented since May 1999; what these regulations were, and whether it will detail any which have been implemented differently in Scotland to other European countries and specify the differences. S1W-11434 Alex Johnstone: To ask the Scottish Executive whether there are any implications for (a) agriculture and (b) the environment of the report by the Better Regulation Taskforce and, if so, whether it will provide details. R
S1W-11435 Alex Johnstone: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has any plans to review all EC regulations implemented since May 1999 and their effect on agriculture and to review the procedures on how such regulations are implemented in the future. R
S1W-11436 Mr Kenneth Macintosh: To ask the Scottish Executive, following the publication of the Deloitte and Touche report A Review into Exam Results Issues Concerning the Scottish Qualifications Authority on 3 November 2000, how it will monitor progress against the recommendations contained in the report.
S1W-11437 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S1W-9796 by Mr Jim Wallace on 26 September 2000, what the actual cost to the taxpayer of the contract in respect of Kilmarnock Prison will be over the 25 year period of the contract, specified in cash terms rather than net present value terms.
S1W-11438 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive what the average annual cost to the taxpayer will be of each prisoner place at Kilmarnock Prison over the 25 year period of the contract, based on the total cost of the contract in respect of Kilmarnock Prison, in (a) cash terms and (b) net present value terms.
S1W-11439 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will investigate claims that the Scottish Prison Service has misled it and the Parliament concerning the running costs of Kilmarnock Prison.
