The National Park aims

In this Act, references to the National Park aims are to the following aims in relation to an area—

(a) to conserve and enhance the natural and cultural heritage of the area,

(b) to promote sustainable use of the natural resources of the area,

(c) to promote understanding and enjoyment of the special qualities of the area by the public, and

(d) to promote sustainable economic and social development of the area’s communities.>

Fergus Ewing: Proposed Registration of Scotland’s Land Bill—Proposal for a Bill to amend the Land Registration (Scotland) Act 1979 to make the registration of title to land compulsory in the circumstances set out in section 2 of that Act; to make the registration of title to land in other circumstances compulsory according to a timescale or timescales to be specified by order; and to require information regarding beneficial ownership of land to be displayed on the title sheet.
